B&K Home Medical Services, Inc. had its beginnings in 1981 as Home Health Care Products, a division of San-Mar Pharmacy in Tiffin. If you know the founders, Bob & Elaine Hunt, you know they care a great deal about their community and its people. Some people may have discovered this in witnessing their leadership in raising funds for what was called the Tiffin-Stadium Project. Others may have noticed Elaine's efforts years ago in helping build the Tiffin YMCA. But most know this from their experiences at San-Mar Pharmacy, which was an important part of the community since 1957.
In 1998 B&K opened its first branch in Bucyrus, expanding the service area and the communities served. In 1999, the Hunts sold San-Mar to Rite-Aid allowing them and their family to focus their efforts on B&K. While the specific services offered may have changed, the caring attitude and community service orientation is stronger than ever. B&K is truly there for you and your health.
We are a team of professionals committed to serving the growing healthcare needs of the communities we serve. We start with a team approach made up of people that are well educated, highly trained and very experienced. We voluntarily hold ourselves accountable to meet or exceed the high standards required for accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
 But most importantly, we focus on your needs and work continuously to improve the level of service, quality of products and overall value you receive from B&K. We strongly encourage your input on what we're doing right as well as what changes you would recommend. We are your hometown provider of healthcare solutions at home.
